Loan Lifecycle

The operational path from borrower setup to post-disbursement monitoring inside the branch dashboard.

Adili treats a loan as an operational record that moves through a controlled sequence of branch actions.

Lifecycle stages

  1. Borrower ready The borrower profile exists and has enough information for lending work.
  2. Loan product selected The branch has a product that defines pricing, limits, and repayment rhythm.
  3. Application created A draft loan record is created from the borrower and product.
  4. Approval completed The organization’s approval flow moves the loan into an approved state.
  5. Disbursement recorded Funds are released with a bank or channel reference.
  6. Repayments collected The branch records one or more repayments.
  7. Analytics reviewed Home and Analytics pages reflect the new activity.

How the dashboard maps to the lifecycle

  • Borrowers supports stage 1.
  • Loan Products supports stage 2.
  • Loans > New Loan supports stage 3.
  • Settings > Approvals and approval execution support stage 4.
  • Loans and Disburse Loan support stage 5.
  • Repayments and Record Repayment support stage 6.
  • Home and Analytics support stage 7.

Operational note

In this documentation pass, the tutorial environment uses a single-owner branch. That means the approval step may be auto-executed when no eligible checker exists, but the lifecycle stage still matters because the loan must reach approved before disbursement.
