Loans Overview
Follow loans from application through approval, disbursement, repayment, and portfolio review.
The Loans area is the operational center for active lending work. It connects borrowers, products, approvals, disbursements, and collections.
Purpose
Use the Loans area to:
- create a new loan from a borrower and product
- review the status of each application
- move approved loans into disbursement
- monitor active loans before repayment and collections work
Before you start
- The borrower must already exist.
- The loan product should already be configured.
- Branch staff should understand who approves, disburses, and records repayments.
Expected result
Each loan progresses through a clear lifecycle with a visible status and supporting activity.
Troubleshooting
- If a loan remains in draft, confirm it was submitted into the approval flow.
- If approved loans cannot be disbursed, review any required funding or disbursement details first.
- If a borrower appears to have duplicate applications, decide which application should continue before further actions are taken.
